About Lexo
Lexo is a bilingual book and manga reader for language learning on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with Apple Watch vocabulary review. Read your own EPUBs and PDFs with parallel translations, save vocabulary as flashcards, and export flashcards to Anki.
Made by Kevin Floc'h
Lexo is made by independent developer Kevin Floc'h.
Reading and translation
Import your own EPUBs and PDFs, translate a book, or merge two editions into a parallel book. Translation quality varies by language, writing style and engine. Compare the translation with the original when something looks wrong.
Offline use and cloud features
Books, translations and flashcards already saved on your device can be used offline. On-device translation needs the relevant language downloads first. Lexo AI, downloading books and iCloud sync require an internet connection. Cloud features use coins; check the price in the app before starting.
Privacy
Your library is stored on your device and can sync through your own iCloud account. On-device translation and text recognition run locally. When you choose a cloud feature, the content needed for that request is sent for processing. See the developer privacy policy.
